Hi there! I’m Jamie a.k.a Chronic Gal. I just decided to create this blog for my own personal sanity. To have a place I can vent, share things that make me smile or sad and connect with other people who deal with chronic illness in their life. I often feel so disconnected from people because they don’t understand chronic illness. I try very hard to find the beauty in life through all this pain and mess around me.
I am 48 years old, married 13 fabulous years and a Gemini (hey man what’s your sign 😉 ? My children are grown and off having families and lives of their own now. I retired from the nursing field of 17 years in hospice and geriatrics.

Now on to more pleasant things. Things I love (besides my family & friends of course) I love Rooster decor which is how my kitchen and living room is decked out. Adore Victorian images and art. I adore kitties (ya I could be the “cat lady”) but am an huge animal lover all around. I am also what my kids call a “tree hugger” and my favorite place to be is in Mountain regions. Fresh clean air and the smell of pine trees. Oh and I have an addiction named COFFEE. I love love love it. My husband says I am a coffee snob LOL I’ll save that for a story later.
So, give me a follow and let’s chat!
